Learn the essentials of how your digestive system works and how you can adapt your diet to maximise gut health.
Our gut microbiota influences many areas of our health from innate immunity to appetite and energy metabolism, so improving your gut microbiome could have far reaching benefits, positively impacting sleep, mood, and energy levels. This course takes you through the basics and then onto more advanced topics and covers some of the latest research into microbiome and its impact on our health.
Discover how to eat fibre rich foods, probiotics, prebiotics, apple cider vinegar and learn how to make ferments like Kombucha, Kimchi, Tempeh, and Sauerkraut. Get tips on how to shop & prep for the week, and how to eat at work or traveling to optimise your gut health. Learn what fridge and store cupboard basics you can stock up on and how to fit them into your regular menus.
There will be morning and afternoon classes and I will schedule time to discuss with each of you your personal health, food preferences and health goals and advise you on ways you can aim to maximise your gut health in a way that fits into your life.
